Trinity Sutherland, based in Detroit, Michigan, is an emerging filmmaker who graduated from College for Creative Studies with a BFA in Film. Her work has increasingly centered on experimental editing techniques and innovative storytelling. As a video editor, she has worked with a variety of independent filmmakers and companies.  Her editing style utilizes rapid intercutting, footage manipulation, and abstracting imagery.  Trinity’s work often challenges the facets of identity, navigating the intersecting truths of her character.

Her work has been showcased in multiple film festivals globally, including Ann Arbor Film Festival; Lift Off Global Network; Made at Home Cinema; NOVA24; Media City Film Festival; in addition to other film showcases. Though her main focus lies in video editing, she’s accumulated skills in motion graphics, graphic design, VFX, sound design, composing, virtual production, and production support.
